TV AMPLIFIER ON BASE OF ELECTRON TRANSIT- BEAM POWER PENTODE GS-47B (SVETRODE SV-001)
The amplifier intended for use in IV-V band TV transmitters. The amplifier is designed on the base of GS-47B (Svetrode 001). GS-47B (Svetrode SV-001) is an electron transit-beam power pentode with axial electron beam. Electron transit-beam pentode differs from the IOT by lack of the magnetic field owing to special configuration of electrodes that focus the beam by means of electrostatic and RF fields, «short» electronics and multiple-beam design. These features also provide lower accelerating voltage that does not exceed 12 kV for peak sync output power over 13 kW.
